Stabbed with ice pick, teen in critical condition

A teenager is tonight recovering after he was stabbed in the back during a fight. According to police, around six on Friday evening officers on mobile patrol found fifteen year old Elmer Martinez and a fourteen year old boy scuffling on Bishop Street. By that time, Martinez was already bleeding from three wounds in his back that had been inflicted by an ice pick. Cops broke up the duo and rushed the teenager to the hospital. Martinez remains at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in a serious condition suffering from a punctured lung. The fourteen year old has since been charged for Dangerous Harm.
