GSU busy weekend in Corozal; drugs, guns and arrests

Former police constable, thirty-three year old Ryan Genus, a well-known drug peddler, and his girlfriend, nineteen year old Keisha Ramclam have been charged jointly for possession of a controlled drug. A search conducted by GSU personnel at Genus’ residence on sixth Avenue in Corozal Town over the weekend, yielded an undetermined amount of crack cocaine as well as small zip-lock bag containing two point eight grams of cannabis. During the raid several individuals who arrived at the house confessed to police that they were there to purchase drugs.

In another GSU bust, forty-two year old businessman Arthur Saldano, aka O.G., and his common law wife twenty-two year old Shamira Pott, were also discovered in possession of a black plastic bag containing point nine grams of cannabis stowed inside a dresser drawer. According to GSU intelligence, Saldano is affiliated with a major Belize City gang. Saldano and Pott were jointly charged with possession of controlled drugs.
Elsewhere in the district, forty-four year old Delma Hall and her son, twenty-six year old Diovan, were charged for drug trafficking following a search of their property in San Antonio Village. While police found nothing inside the building, they discovered sixty-three grams of cannabis at the rear of the house.

Corozal is in a dangerous place, right next to a narco-state, and we must be super-vigilant there. Every time the cartels try to get a toehold there, our law enforcement must stomp on them HARD.

They also need to check these drug dealer residences for stolen articles from the many Corozal burglaries and jackings. Look for knock out spray also.

ok people, we r so quick to judge others, while i’m pretty sure they r quite a few of skeletons in your closets. first of all if the government would produce jobs to our people, so they could make a legit living, they wouldn’t be as much drug trafficking and stealing. it is not ok to commit these crimes, but at the same time people have to make a living to support their family. SO BEFORE U JUDGE KNOW THE SITUATION OF THE PERSON!
Ok belizegal…say now I know the situation…people don’t have money to feed their family, they are tempted to steal, but they end up destroying and killing. Now what?
People who are really into selling drugs are in it to make big money. Not just tie up a few loose ends. I don’t know but I’m not convinced that this was the case here.
Why not say how much drugs was found.
The GSU is the biggest criminal force in Belize. They lie, plant evidence, and refuse to acknowledge any basic human rights. They searched several of the mentioned residences with no witnesses and came out with drugs. Then they say they searched the residence with the owners, after they have planted evidence. We need an independent watchdog group go with the GSU on their drug raids to keep an eye on what they are doing. They try to intimidate people and violate their civil rights with no recourse for the citizens.
Now we have to watch out for the gangs AND the police.

IF YOU DONT KNOW JOE BLOW WHO IS HIGH UP IN THE OFFICE, THEN U CANT FIND A LEGIT JOB….THE COUNTRY IS SO CORRUPT WITH GOVERMENT LIES, I DONT BLAME PEOPLE OF BELIZE TO DO WHAT THEY CAN TO SURVIVE.
