Scotiabank customers win rewards in latest promotions
Fifty-three Belizeans are winners tonight, all because they do business with ScotiaBank. This morning officials of the financial institution handed out cheques and vouchers to the lucky customers selected during separate promotional campaigns. The prizes ranged from Ipods and TVs to overnight stays at luxury resorts and cash. This morning News Five stopped by Scotia’s downtown branch and spoke with some of the chosen.

“I think it’s a fantastic thing, first time I win wah prize, especially this big: wah twenty inch TV. I use Scotia Bank because of the convenience of its ATM machines.”

“Do you hope you’ll be able to watch the news on your new TV tonight?”

“Yeah, actually I look forward to do that, especially since I only have broadcast TV. I wish it mi come with a cable subscription though.”

“Yes, I got a loan for seventy-five dollars to buy a bicycle.”
