Model behavior: CYDP Supervisor charged with Robbery
In the local courts, twenty-three year old CYDP Supervisor, Jose Ayala appeared before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer for Robbery. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded to the Central Prison until July fourth. Shantai White alleges that around five-thirty p.m. on April twenty-eighth she was walking on Newtown Barracks when two men approached her near the intersection with Wilson Street. One of the men pointed a gun at her and demanded that she hand over her purse. Fearing for her life, she complied. Several items were stolen including a pink cell phone, a silver chain, watch and one hundred and seventy-five dollars in cash. Today, Ayala admitted in court that he was included in an identification parade and that White identified him as one of her attackers. Still, he maintained that he is innocent and says that it may have been someone who looks like him. But Senior Magistrate Frazer stopped him from explaining and told him to save his defense for trial. Ayala was represented by Attorney, Simeon Sampson.

A shining example of GOB’s brilliant plan of putting gangsters on the payroll. Let’s hope he gets a long, long sentence.
