“We have Erwin X, the Gentle Giant, Grandmaster, Khalilah, Ruth Reneau, Wilfred X, Kenisha, we have Brasta, we have Tanya Carter, she will be doing a musical item. It’s not only about poetry, we have poetry but we are also incorporating all aspect of the performing arts including dance, music, drama. You name it, we’ll have it. We’ll have veterans also like Miss Carrie Fairweather, you know renowned dramatist; Myrna Manzanares, Rachel Sedacy, True Reality, Jahseed X, The Lyrical Chef. I mean I can go on. We have a whole list, we have twenty-four poets and a list of twenty-four poets tomorrow eight o’clock p.m. at the Bliss Centre for the Performing Arts.”

“We have so many different types of performers for tomorrow’s show, so you can expect—look forward to a diverse show. I think everybody, it’s a family occasion, you come out, definitely enjoy yourself. It’s only ten dollars and we made it a reasonable price because we wanted everybody to come out, we wanted everybody to experience the second annual Lik it! Festival.”
