Tacos vendor robs another vendor

A man who says he is a tacos vendor is out on bail for robbing a fellow tacos vendor. Twenty-two year old Allen Guzman of Pelican Street pleaded not guilty this afternoon in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court. The charge follows a report by twenty-five year old Lorenzo Perez that at about seven this morning he was pushing his tacos cart when he noticed that two men were following him. According to Perez, one of the men approached him and placed a knife at his rib cage and robbed him of eighty dollars. Both men then rode off on separate bicycles. Guzman was unable to meet bail of five thousand dollars and was remanded until October fifteenth.
