Bulletproof jacket not prison proof for Brian Brown
The infamous Brian Brown was on the run for a week, after the GSU spent hours raiding his Fabers Road property on May sixteenth and found a cache of illegal items, including cocaine. Brown, accompanied by Attorney Dickie Bradley, handed himself over to police on Wednesday and was taken to court this afternoon. The arraignment was done at the Belize Family Court because Magistrates from across the country are participating in a two-day seminar which began on Thursday. Brown was read eight charges, including six counts of Drug trafficking for a total of eight hundred and seventeen grams of cocaine, three hundred and seven grams of crack, as well as seven hundred and sixty-two grams of cannabis found at his house. He was also charged for Possession of a Bong and Possession of an Unregistered Bullet Proof Vest. The cops also found over seven thousand dollars in cash, police handcuffs, ski masks and a government license plate among other items. But it was the bullet proof vest that landed him in jail today, because it falls under the Firearms Act and bail cannot be granted. Brown was arraigned in the absence of his attorney and has been remanded until June twenty-fifth.
I almost hoped he would not let himself be taken alive, but instead he was a meek lamb. Rather, a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
We’ll all be a little safer while he is locked up. I hope there is an honest and effective effort to keep him there.
Seriously.. for a bullet proof vest.. did not know that’s a weapon.. sounds like protection to me. And. All this happened while his attorney not present to defend his case.
jun jun I guess u on the criminal side too why in the world would anyone need protection to the extent of wearing a bullet proof vest if they r not involved in criminal activity but a guess ur one of his run man too huh.
