Driver wounded on Dean Street won’t help police

Authorities strongly believe that twenty-three year old Earl Crawford knows who shot him and why but police say he has not been cooperating with the investigation. Crawford was driving a Honda Civic on Dean Street towards Euphrates Avenue around eleven on Saturday night when upon reaching the intersection gunshots rang out. Crawford was hit in the abdomen, left arm, and hip. A police mobile patrol in the area responded to the gunfire and discovered Crawford badly injured sitting in the vehicle. Crawford was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
