Corpse found on Belcan Bridge identified

Belize City police have confirmed the identity of a man found dead on Belcan Bridge early Thursday morning. According to investigators, the corpse is that of Giovanni Martinez, a resident of Coney Drive. And while cops know who he is, tonight they are still trying to figure out how Martinez died. Because he had a visible injury to the back of his head, police believe Martinez was either the victim of foul play or was involved in a hit and run traffic accident.
