Cops seize 19 kilos of cocaine from bus

Police made a big drug bust over the weekend, confiscating nineteen kilos of cocaine. According to police reports, acting on a tip, officers from the Crimes Investigation Unit, Crimes Investigation Branch and Anti-Drug Unit visited the Novelo’s Bus terminal on West Canal and proceeded to search a bus that had just come in from Orange Walk. In a knapsack on one the seats, the cops say they found nineteen individually wrapped parcels of what is believed to be cocaine. The passenger sitting with the bag was immediately detained and tonight thirty-seven year old Rojelio Solis Junior has since been charged with drug trafficking. The case against Solis has been adjourned until the twenty third of May.
