U.S. Citizen freed of molestation charges
The case of a U.S. National, who was accused of molesting three boys in October, 2011 made the headlines, but the case was quietly dropped in the Corozal courts last week Thursday. According to reports, the three victims refused to testify and the prosecutor had no choice but to withdraw the charges against the American citizen, Brian Sears, who went back to the U.S. long before the trial came up. Late last year, residents of Sarteneja Village in the Corozal District were particularly disturbed and irate because the youths as well as the community trusted Sears since he was a missionary who paid school bills for the boys and also became a caregiver for one of the youths who lived in his house. Thirty five year old Sears, a member of Victory Christian Fellowship of Somerset Kentucky was eventually charged with Committing an Unnatural Act. On October eighth he was released on bail, but was re-arrested on December sixteenth on Fourth Avenue in Corozal Town with point two six grams of suspected crack in his vehicle. He also received bail on that charge. The police department declined to comment on the case and referred us to the office of the DPP.
A pretty nasty for choice for a missionary. What would Jesus say?
See this is because someone on this gov. Took another bribe and let this man go Scott free why was he let o to leave the country their is just no end to the total corruption of this gov. Another judas to their country let this guy pay them off and let him go after sodomizing one of our belizean children sick sick sick what a gov.
So a suspected pedophile is given bail and left with his passport to leave the country. We need a change in the law to make this impossible, but what will the govt. and opposition do? Nothing.
Perverted foreigners. Let them just go home and do their crap there
Wake up Belize, had a Belizean committed such heinous crime in the United States,he or she would have being facing life. Thanks again to our justice system for being the most incompetent justice system in the world.

Free. Why did these victims not testify? Good Gawd, maybe they liked it all. Maybe, maybe and many maybes.
We are always ready to look at things in just one way. Why are we so one track? Come on folks. You get virgin @$$ dehumanized. The whole world knows what happened to you. Now you have an opportunity to put this piece of !@#$ behind bars………….. and you fail to testify against him.
Huh? Sounds to me like you are desperately seeking an encore.
I wish he had been castrated before he was allowed to leave. How many more children will he rape? How many more young lives will he destroy?
And lets all thanks the pup and udp lawfirm for this one,
How did he beat the coke rap too?
Did it ever occur to any of you that since the boys failed to testify, and he was let go on bail-even to leave the country, that he might just be innocent? I for one don’t believe it, especially the crack incident. He was targeted from the get-go for some unknown reason.
Could it be that he got out on bail, and that the boys refused to testify, because there is nothing to hold him on, or testify against? God is still in control.
