NEMO keeps an eye on Ernesto
As we go into the weekend, information coming out of the National Hurricane Center Forecast is that Tropical Storm Ernesto is expected to become a hurricane by Monday morning. T.S. Ernesto will continue moving across the Eastern and Central Caribbean Sea and is predicted to head toward the Gulf of Mexico. The forecast is showing tropical force winds that extend outwards up to one hundred and five miles. At three this afternoon T.S. Ernesto’s movement was westward at twenty one miles per hour with maximum sustained winds at fifty miles per hour. The general public is advised to keep informed through further bulletins from NEMO and the National Meteorological Service.
