Dorothy Menzies Childcare Centre receives donation

Story PictureThe children at the Dorothy Menzies Childcare Centre were the beneficiaries of a donation of canned foods today. The items came from persons who contributed to the efforts of entrepreneur, Joel “Dara” Robinson. Robinson initiated a canned food drive to help the needy and at his last concert in July at the M.C.C. tennis court, Robinson invited people to give non-perishable goods. This morning Robinson packed up those goods at his Dunn Street home and delivered them to the Children’s Home where he handed them over to a grateful Dawn Faber, a foster mother at the centre.
