Youth stabs his brother in the chest because of tennis

In Ladyville, a tennis shoe led to a near fatal stabbing between two siblings. Nineteen year old Esau Bainton is fighting for his life in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after he was allegedly stabbed by his younger brother, who is a minor. Shortly after seven this morning, things got out of hand at the Bainton household when Esau and his fifteen year old brother got into a petty argument over a pair of tennis shoes. When News Five arrived at the Bainton residence, the Scenes of Crime personnel were processing the area where the incident happened. According to reports, the family was at home when the altercation occurred. It stemmed from an argument inside the house and escalated into a bloody incident under a tree in the yard.  It is alleged that the minor took a knife and inflicted a stab to his elder brother’s chest for using his tennis shoes. Bainton was rushed to the KHMH where he underwent surgery. Police have since detained the minor.

That is so sad. Parents need to teach their children how to speak to one another nicely, and also how to respect each other.

  2. aura gaskin says:

    that is sad

  3. aldo says:

what these youths lack are morals, values and discipline. Quick to use violence to solve their issues. Sad to see out younger generation killing each other for nothing.

  4. Simone says:

People get what they deserve-one may die and the other jailed-two less idiots in the world.

  5. Storm says:

Cain and Abel all over again. We’ve had dysfunctional families and angry kids for a long time.

I can’t help wonder whether drugs or alcohol were involved? I fought plenty with my brothers when I was that age, but none of us ever thought to use weapons.

The stabber needs a long period of confinement to reflect on his wrong.

  6. LA says:

i so sick of some of your stupid comment……if you dont have any thing with sense to say SHUT IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!! SIMONE,AURA!!!

  7. Logic says:

Complaining that people are quick to use violence to solve their issues is a bit rich, considering the general comments on this website towards some news articles.

  8. Ali B says:

LA….what stupid comment are you talking about, I do agree with both Simone and Aura, we need to teach our children how to respect each other and yes, I am also glad that this was kept within the family and that they are off the streets (well at least the younger brother). glad no other innocent outsider was hurt by this idiot. Don;t be surprised if you hear about the younger brother succeeding in killing someone a few years down the road…hope its not your family…then you will see where Simone and Aura are coming from.

I believe that this incident is truly sad. The brother should be ashamed fighting and almost killing his brother over such stupid stuff. In a whole i believe that our youths need and attitude adjustment. So i would advice that a boot camp be in place to teach guys like this a hard lesson

  10. wake up says:
