Novelo family objects to forensic auditor
The man scheduled to next testify before the D.F.C. Commission of Inquiry has written to the Commission raising questions concerning the competence and objectivity of the commission’s forensic auditor. According to David Novelo, auditor Mark Hulse, who tabled his preliminary report last week, should not have been given the job due to several conflicts of interest. When he testifies next week Novelo is expected to voice his objections in detail. Novelo’s company was the recipient of the D.F.C.’s largest ever loan, amounting to thirty million dollars, all of which was dispersed in one day.
