Who stole her 2000 Kia Sportage?
An employee of the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital is tonight up in arms after her green 2000 Kia Sportage, with license plates C-24565 was stolen from inside the parking lot of the institution. Sandra Bradshaw is furious because despite security on the compound as well as surveillance cameras, someone drove off with ease in her vehicle. According to Bradshaw, around four p.m. on Wednesday she dropped her daughter off at an aunt and when she came back to the K.H.M.H., she had to park in a section of the lot which as it appears was out of the surveillance camera’s periphery. Early in the evening, between six p.m. and six-forty her vehicle was stolen and was last spotted on Coney Drive. Bradshaw says that she is fed up with the crime in the City and asks for help for the return of her vehicle.
Sandra Bradshaw, Vehicle Stolen
“At about twenty to seven, I came downstairs and when I looked where I knew I parked my vehicle it was gone. I couldn’t believe it so I said; I started combing the area up and down just to make sure. Then I went in, called the security to come out and check cause maybe I’m tired. And we looked, he had all the flashlight and everything and absolutely nothing. I went up, we reviewed the camera. You see me coming and going, but you don’t see the little area where I parked. And so a whole vehicle is gone just like that. I know it was spotted on Coney Drive a little after six [by] somebody who knows the vehicle. So I am putting it between six and six-forty that that vehicle was stolen from this compound. There was a key that I couldn’t find, but when I went home last night and I search all my bags, I found that one. So I am the only one who is supposed to have a key.”

“So you are not sure if they broke the glass or anything like that, but your vehicle is gone?”
Sandra Bradshaw
“Exactly I don’t know; only the others who did it or maybe the others who might have seen. My concern is I’m a hardworking citizen here; I was at work and my vehicle is missing and that’s my concern. And about the crime rate and the wave of crime that we are witnessing. I am very concern like any other citizen in this country is.”
Anyone with information is asked to please contact the nearest police station or call Crime Stoppers Belize at 0-800-922-TIPS.
I hope the government understand that it has liability for all property under its care, custody, and control. Let’s see if the Barrow’s level of intelligence has reached that level of sophistication to understand what has happenned or he is just a wishy-washy psuedo-everything.
She went home and found the key? How did she drive it to KHMH without a key?
Sounds to me like she left the key in the ignition, so it was easy to steal. And then she found her spare key at home. As reported, the story doesn’t add up quite right.
2000 kia’s….who knew of all the vehicles in the khmh parking lot…they would skip the toyota prado, the nissan and go for a 12 year old kia.
yeah, i agree with bear, she left her key in the ignition.
Interesting that bear and Jorge sound like someone who either committed the crime or solved the part of who is to blame but seem to have little interest in addressing the crime level or the malfunctioning camera and security at the hospital. Smacks of some maliciousness. Do you realized your reasoning is skewed as it was the spare key that she was previously missing before she eventually searched and found it at home, and the reason for putting that effort into searching for the spare that was missing was to confirm that access to the car was not from the missing spare key. I do not see where she mentioned anything about missing the key she drove the car to the hospital with. It doesn’t take a course in philosophy and reasoning to work that out! So before you fancy yourselves to be amateur detectives, get some basic reasoning ability.
