Tourists caught hiding coke where the sun don’t shine

Two brothers visiting Belize on a cruise ship will have an interesting story to tell when they reach home. According to police, twenty-three year old Andrew Shumate and his twenty-six year old brother Joshua were observed acting suspiciously by security personnel Tuesday afternoon at the Fort Street Tourism Village. When detained by police in the bathroom, Joshua produced a plastic bag from up his backside containing over an ounce of cocaine. Andrew, apparently suffering from constipation, was transported to Ladyville where Doctor Mario Estradabran extracted a plastic bag with an additional one and a third ounces of coke. While the brothers offered to plead guilty to a simple possession charge, the prosecution decided not to compromise and stuck to the original charge of Drug Trafficking. The case has been adjourned until tomorrow in the court of Magistrate Sharon Fraser.
