San Pedro robbery leaves one hospitalised

A San Pedro man remains admitted to ward tonight following a robbery on the island just after one this morning. According to police, forty-nine year old Jian Shan and his wife were manning the counter of Johnson’s Restaurant on Angel Coral Drive when three men with t-shirts covering their faces ambushed them and demanded money. During the attack, Jian was stabbed in his stomach while his wife was cut on the head. The bandits then stole eight hundred dollars in cash and made their getaway. The businessman was rushed to the San Pedro Clinic and later transferred to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment. Up to news time tonight no arrests had been made.
