Roaring Creek man killed in traffic mishap
Police officers in the Cayo district are tonight looking for the driver of a vehicle who knocked down and killed a Roaring Creek resident. Reports are that around eleven-thirty on Thursday night, cops found the body of Alford Parham lying in the middle of the Western Highway between miles thirty-five and thirty-six. Parham, suffering from severe head and body injuries, was declared dead at the scene. Investigators say an intoxicated Parham was last seen in Belize City around six on Thursday and they believe he either fell out of a truck that was giving him a ride or he was knocked down trying to hitchhike home.
