“Robbery” charged with Attempted Murder

Twenty-two year old Aspinal Welch has been charged for the robbery attempt on a customer at Dits restaurant on Wednesday. Welch, who is known as “Robbery,” was arrested after he was shot by the customer in both legs. After receiving treatment, he was arraigned today for Attempted Murder and Keeping a firearm without a gun license. No plea was taken and Welch was remanded until January fourth, 2013. He was reportedly trying to steal jewelry from a customer in Dits Restaurant and fired two shots at him but missed. The man, however, had a licensed firearm and shot him.
I hope DPP added attempted murder to the robbery charge. We’ll all be better off if this man is never free again.
Lets take a good look at this guy, he is 21 years old, no disability of any kind and with a gun? Why the hell the Belizean people tolerate this? He is a menace to society! the customer made one crucial mistake and that was to shoot him in his legs. He should have put two between the eyes. Once a thief always a thief and he will do whatever to get away and that might include murder.
This kid is a menace to society at age 21. Is he mentally challenge or any disability of any kind? if not he need a severe flagging, and I am talking about a good old fashion a.. whipping before he goes to jail.

Aaagh! I reversed what I meant, I hope they remembered to file the robbery/attempted robbery charge to the attempted murder and firearms charges. Senility might be setting in.
