Marijuana in the motor vehicle
The Police Special Branch was conducting operations over the weekend. At around three-thirty on Friday afternoon, the officers searched an area in Pink’s Alley where they found a black plastic bag containing a hundred and nine grams of cannabis hidden inside the bumper of an abandoned vehicle park. Then on Saturday afternoon, a tip led the special branch officers to conduct a search in the Linda Vista area of Mahogany Street Extension. A bag containing one hundred and two grams of cannabis was found in an abandon lot. A third search was conducted at eleven-thirty on Sunday morning in Maskall Village where a team of Police officers combed another abandon lot. An Aguila brand twenty gauge pump action shotgun was recovered along with a live cartridge. There were no persons around the when the searches were carried out and all items were taken into custody as found property.
I’m encouraged every time police search and take contraband out of circulation. Too bad there were no suspects to arrest for these, but it’s still good work. Thanks to the tipster, too.
