G.S.T. raffle won by Police Officer

In these final weeks before Christmas there have been literally dozens of special raffles, large and small. But none has generated more buzz than the one conducted by General Sales Tax Department. News Five’s Janelle Chanona was on hand for today’s grand prize draw.

As part of a month long awareness campaign this afternoon, the General Sales Tax department and the Belize Chamber of Commerce ended a joint raffle with a grand prize draw totalling ten thousand dollars.

Under the supervision of Dorett Bevans from the Lotteries Commission, Vilma Broadster of the Auditing Department pulled the third prize ticket.
