Decomposing body identified as Tyrone Simon
The decomposing body of a man was found on Sunday night in his house in East Canal in Belize City. The man has been identified as Tyrone Simon, who had no known relatives in Belize and was last seen last Friday in the area of Dean Street and East Canal. His disappearance did not sound alarm bells but neighbors became concerned when they detected a foul smell emanating from his house. Simon’s decomposing body was later found and a post mortem was conducted which indicates that he died to septic shock due to pneumonia.
So sad to die alone, with no medical treatment.
I’d rather see public money spent for minimal health care than many other unnecessary or wasteful projects.
Tyrone was a dear fren of mine….I didn’t see him for quite some time, always wondered where he was. Such sad news.
It’s a good bet he caught the flu, then it turned to pneumonia.
I hope someday our Ministry of Health can start a national flu vaccination program, at least for the elderly and children. It’s a good investment to save lives.
