GSU finds guns, drugs and disposable rocket launcher for Christmas
The Gang Suppression Unit descended on Ladyville earlier today. The first search was at the house of Dario Cruickshank on Mami Street. Cruickshank is described as a member of the Ghost Town Crips. Also present during the search were Elvis Mitchell and Martha Sabio of Belize City. In the attic the Unit found a nine mm Beretta pistol containing eleven live rounds of ammo for which there was no license. A small quantity of cannabis was also found and all three were arrested and charged with the offence of Kept Firearm and Ammunition without a gun license while Cruickshank was additionally charged with two counts of Possession of controlled Drugs. Also in the Lord Bank’s area, the GSU found the casing of a disposable rocket launcher at an abandoned house on Tuesday. This afternoon, another search was conducted in an abandoned lot at Nurse Findley Street where a bag loaded with over one thousand pounds of cannabis was located.
Good work, GSU. Keep bringing it to the gangsters, hit them hard!
I hope we hear more about an investigation into the disposable rocket launcher — where did it come from, at least.
