Government will pick up tab for Price
As the family and friends of the late David Price continue to make preparations for his funeral, today the Government of Belize announced it will assume the costs of paying for transporting Price home as well as his medical treatment in Cuba and the cost of the air ambulance that took the critically ill patient to a Havana hospital. According to family spokesman David Gibson, the Prices are asking for the public’s financial help in meeting medical expenses incurred in Belize, namely forty-two thousand dollars at Universal Health Services. Contributions can be made at the Alliance Bank, account 506-161. Price passed away in Cuba late Tuesday night where he was being treated for a host of maladies. We also understand that the earliest he can be brought home is Monday, with the funeral scheduled for in the week.
