Youth inspired to be Latin singer

Channel Five has proven that talent comes in all shapes and sizes from our various shows. And tonight, one seventeen year old resident of San Ignacio wants to showcase his love for singing to the country. Roni Baños, who goes by the stage name “Roni B” has been singing for five years and has picked up a passion to perform in the various genres. Well today, Baños came to News Five studios to launch his new music video entitled, “Si Tu Te Vas.” But his visit was two-fold as he took the opportunity to tell us about the release of his album, “Conectando Corazones,” which will be launched in early 2013.

“I’m launching my music video; “Si Tu Te Vas.” I have it on You Tube. You can link us on Facebook and You Tube.  The inspiration for the song; it is something about love that inspires me and that is my inspiration for the music video.  I start sing from I have twelve years until now. And this music video, Si Tu Te Vas, I just want it to touch the heart of pairs that love and keep them and never make them break that love.”

“The launch of your new album that is coming in 2013. Tell us about that and what people can expect when they do go out and buy that album.”

“The album is conectando corazones. It will be launched sometime in January. I don’t have a special date, but you can check us on facebook and I will set the exact date. I haven’t gotten the date. I haven’t received the copies as yet so I can’t set a date. Out of that album, Conectando Corazones, we have Bachata, Reggaeton; it’s full. I have English songs; Soca. This si tut e vas music video is Soca and romantic as well.”
