Two persons—including police officer—injured in traffic accident
There was a head on collision involving a delivery truck and small car between miles six and seven on the Phillip Goldson Highway in the height of this morning’s rush hour. Two persons were injured and while there is still no official police report, the names of the two drivers are known. Police officer Michael Hutchinson was driving the small car while Denfield Borland was reportedly driving the delivery truck; both sustained minor injuries. Witnesses to the accident say that the truck was heading north when Hutchinson’s vehicle collided into it after he overtook another vehicle on the curve

Which idiot overtakes on a curve? GOB-Pleeeaseeeee place a speedbump somewhere near this curve-this is only one accident that gets reported but there are many more and near misses involving buses and big trucks when they overtake the long line of commuters taking their kids to school. Just good for the rushing moron-ever heard of “haste makes waste”? did you get to where you were going any faster now dumb dumb? and this is our police force?
stupid police….. again dem…
I would hope a police officer would know never to pass on a curve. He’s lucky he didn’t kill somebody.
dead man curve. What an idiot over taking on curve. I think he buy his driver license.
Dumb as hell! I am speaking to the police that overtook another vehicle on a curve.
Lots of recless driving in Belize! An uniformed immigration officer from the PGIA did the same thing around me and almost slammed into a 10 wheeler loaded with sand. I figured he was a goner but God smiled at him that day. 15 minutes later I passed him after he stopped to let a couple passengers off at the Shell gas station by the airport cutoff.
