Brothers/police officers injured in N. H’way. accident

Two police officers are tonight admitted to ward at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital following a traffic accident on the Northern Highway. According to investigators, brothers Edwin and Gido Marin were heading to Belize City in a red Ford Escort but between miles four and five their vehicle collided with a pickup truck coming from the opposition direction that was attempting to make a left hand turn. The Marins sustained head and body injuries and were rushed to the emergency room for treatment. Tonight their condition is listed as serious but stable. The driver of the other vehicle, forty-six year old Mark Godoy Sr. received minor injuries in the incident.
