GSU recovers stolen items
The Gang Suppression Unit is reporting that it has recovered a list of items stolen from the Hattieville police Station which included one thousand eight hundred and ten dollars in US currency, a laptop, cell phones, an X-Box and watches. The treasure trove was found this past Tuesday during a search of a house on Cannondale Drive. Present at the time were a minor along with Lloyd Michael Parchue, Cilo Cherington and Kareem York, who are believed to be members of the PIV gang. In an investigation it was discovered that the items were originally stolen from the house of Phillip Garbutt, a customs officer of the Western Paradise Community. Parchue, Cherrington and York were all charged with “Burglary” and “Handling Stolen Goods.” According to the GSU, Parchue was released on bail last Friday after being jointly charged along with two other male persons for a robbery that occurred at Moon Grocery Chinese Store last year.
