Guatemala’s Foreign Minister in Belize
The Foreign Minister of Guatemala was in Belize today in an unannounced visit. Fernando Carrera arrived by private aircraft at the Philip Goldson International Airport this afternoon around one o’clock, met with Foreign Affairs Minister Wilfred Elrington before departing at four p.m. Carrera’s call on the foreign minister had to do with the upcoming referendum on October sixth which has caused a major uproar in Guatemala because of an amendment to Belize’s referendum act. The Guatemalan government has made it clear that there are at a disadvantage and has since disbanded the Comision de Belice. But both he and Elrington expressed hope that the claim will be settled at the International Court of Justice. It was Carrera’s first trip to Belize as Guatemala’s foreign minister.

I assume Sedi apologized — for what, I don’t know, but it seems that is all he does for a foreign policy.
@storm you are wrong he came to tell him that Guatemala will NOT send anymore prostitutes to Belize.
Wondering if our foreign minister begs the Guatemalan foreign minister to tell his people not to cross into Belize, or did they discuss the master plan of a silent invasion of Belize.
