Donors honoured for Patrol Branch renovation
A short ceremony was also held this afternoon at the Queen Street Police Station where twelve business people were honoured for their part in funding the renovation of the city’s Patrol Branch headquarters. The seventy thousand dollar project was completed over the last eight months and was led by Patrol Branch head Superintendent Edward Broaster. Plaques were presented by Commissioner Westby, who remarked that when you offer police officers a better working environment, they will perform their duties with greater enthusiasm and professionalism.
