Chairman hospitalised; D.F.C. hearings suspended again
The public hearings of the Commission of Inquiry looking at the Development Finance Corporation, only just reconvened on October twenty-fourth following a two month recess, have once again been derailed due to the illness of Chairman David Price. According to an official release, the hearings have been suspended until further notice. No details regarding Price’s condition have been issued by his family other than that he has been hospitalised. Sources indicate to News Five that he was admitted to the K.H.M.H. this morning. It had been previously explained by Price himself that under the law the commission must do its work with all three members present. Price’s fellow commissioners are Merlene Bailey Martinez and Herbert Lord.
