Female Softball team returns to jewel
The National Softball team returned this afternoon from Costa Rica on Taca Airlines. The girls beat Nicaragua and Costa Rica and went on to secure a bronze medal for the jewel. Guatemala placed second and El Salvador was the winning team in the Central American Games.
Congratulations to yet another crop of young Belizean athletes who tried hard and succeeded on the field. You’re good examples for the other young women to look up to.
