WIN to hold public awareness fair on Saturday
Also this weekend, two social service organizations are teaming up to promote healthier lifestyles for Belizeans. The event is an all day fair on Saturday coordinated by WIN-Belize and Youth for the Future. WIN’s Shelmadine Cacho explains.

?The purpose of the fair is to increase awareness about HIV/AIDS, gender-based violence, as well as crime reduction. The fair is being held in memory of Evalee Cadle, a peer educator at Youth for the Future that passed away in July.?

?What can people expect when they go out??

?Well we have a number of organization coming out as well as we?re organizing a basketball tournament, male and female. We?re gonna have food booths, we have rapid testing, as well as blood pressure checks and hypertension. A whole lot of activities going on, stuff for the kids and the entire family.?
The fair runs from nine in the morning to five p.m. at the Wilton Cumberbatch field at the corner of Caesar Ridge and Faber’s Road.
