Cops fire shot, suspects detained, but no arrest

Police would not say why one of their mobile units decided to stop a black pickup truck as the vehicle travelled in the vicinity of the roundabout by Pallotti High school around five on Wednesday evening, but when cops tried to intercept it, the vehicle sped off. The police then reportedly fired a warning shot which brought the truck to a full stop. When police approached they observed two young men inside along with what was reported to be two pounds of weed. Late word from the cops, however, is that the suspects are in conversation with authorities and will not at present face any charges.
