Verde given green light by mistake for court appearance

GST Supervisor, Reynaldo Verde, remains behind bars tonight waiting for a bail application to be heard by the Supreme Court. On Easter Sunday, Verde was detained by police for shooting a man with his licensed firearm. He was arraigned in the San Pedro Magistrate Court last Wednesday and remanded to the Belize Central Prison since bail could not be offered until May tenth. But today, a removal order signed by the San Pedro Magistrate’s Court, who had initially remanded him, was mistakenly sent to the prison for Verde’s appearance in court. Michael Peyrefitte, his attorney, spoke with News Five outside the court room and said that Verde was never due back in court today and he believes it was just an honest error by the court to send a removal order for him. Peyrefitte said that he is waiting for a bail hearing by the Supreme Court. Verde was charged with one count of dangerous harm upon Allen Ajay Martinez who was shot in the left hip. Both were at the Holiday Hotel on Barrier Reef Driver on March thirty-first when an altercation ended in the shooting.

just a reminder of this guy who got a gun license and went to punta gorda and use it to kill his girl friend when he got upset,and this is just a waiting bomb shell,unnoticed,he will KILL SOME ONE AND THIS GOV WILL BE SO SORRY.TRUST ME.OUT HERE IN THE UNITED STATES AFTER HE SHOT ONE PERSON WITH NO APPARENT SELF DEFENCE, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN BAN FROM EVEN GOING NEAR A FIRE ARM, NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A GUARD WHO IS ARM , HE HAVE TO KEEP AWAY.
This man is crazy, he should remain in prison for sometime so that he can learn a lesson and do the same !@#$ a 3rd time. Is dangerous to put him on the streets again anyone of us can be his next victim.

I belive Mr. Verde is getting highly preferential treatment. In recent news few weeks ago a person try shoot next person and miss yet he was charged for attempt murder…and this person even after shooting the victim in public under the influence of alcohol and he is given a baby charge “dangerous harm” (DPP office wakeup)..other accused persons are waiting in prison from months and yet they are not able to get removable order..and his name mistakenly appear on removable order (justice system wakeup)..this person has a pattern of same crime several time and yet he is allowed to serve a government department (Govt wake up)..this person is not fit for society so he should remain in prison’s psychiatric ward…I is just given one more opportunity to come out and negotiate with victim as he has done in past.
