Did Ladyville resident drown?

There is another death that police are investigating. On Tuesday morning, Ladyville police visited a farm on the Old Northern Highway where they saw the lifeless body of fifty-seven year old Crecencio Mai.  Mai, who was clad in khaki long pants, red tee shirt and black shoes, was found partially submerged in a pond on a property belonging to Leroy Heusner.  An investigation into his death revealed that at approximately five a.m., sixty-three year old Victor Canton set out in search of Mai, who was nowhere in sight.  Canton grew concerned since Mai failed to show up several hours later.  A subsequent search of the area, including a nearby supermarket on the Phillip Goldson Highway, proved fruitless until Canton returned to the farm where he made the ghastly discovery.  The body of Mai remains at the K.H.M.H. morgue where it awaits a post mortem examination.

  1. Storm says:

RIP. Hopefully it is natural causes or a tragic accident, and not a crime that goes unsolved.
