Boledo book stolen from Cayo hitchhiker

Cayo police are tonight investigating allegations of kidnapping and armed robbery reported by a boledo vendor. According to sixty-two year old Godfrey Tillett, he was hitchhiking along the Western Highway in Ontario Village around two thirty on Thursday afternoon when a white car pulled up alongside him. But when he opened the back door, Tillett says a passenger put a gun to his face. The victim says he was forced into the vehicle where he was blindfolded, his hands bound and he was hit in the head with a blunt object. Confused but conscious, Tillett says he was taken to another area and robbed of two boledo books, about a hundred and fifty dollars in cash and his wedding ring. Up to news time tonight, no arrests had been made in connection to the incident.
