UNIBAM trial gets underway on Tuesday

The most significant trial in our young nation’s history gets underway on Tuesday, May seventh, when the Supreme Court will hear arguments in Caleb Orozco versus the Attorney General of Belize. The long awaited day in court has been preceded by a very tangible increase in propaganda on the ground and in the media. Those opposing the move to amend Section fifty three of the Criminal Code have been especially vocal, with promises of vigils, prayers and rallies throughout the court session. Orozco and the United Belize Advocacy Movement, UNIBAM, have been just as vocal, and word tonight is that on Monday, May sixth, on the eve of the case Orozco’s team of Belizean and Caribbean attorneys will be holding a pre-trial press conference, followed by a public event hosted by a civil society organization. The event is scheduled for one p.m. at the University of the West Indies Open Campus.

“The Criminal Code of Belize states that “Every person who has carnal knowledge against the order of nature with any person or animal shall be liable for imprisonment for ten years”

Ok, if that law be so, let the police arrest all those unibams, they are breaking the Belizean laws.

I believe that if they are caught in the act then they should be arrest, we have no problem of them being gay, the problem is that we don’t agree if they intent to marry here in Belize. If they bring that lame excuse that they are fighting for their rights, soon the criminals will be fighting for theirs too, with the excuse that they need to eat, they have to find means to survive and that’s the reason the thief, rob, assault and kidnap. come on unibam keep your life style in the closet no body will bother you, look at Tim Tebow who prays every before he plays a game, every time he does his criticize, ridiculed on the contrary the basket ball player who just came out of the closet his called ohhhh a hero, do we get the picture now, that is really crazy aint it?

It’s troubling to me that UNIBAM is really fronting for international activists for gay marriage and “abortion rights”, like their recent spokesperson, Rev. Mary Martin from Michigan in the USA.

Let America and Europe go to hell if they want, but we don’t need them being here, trying to force us to accept perversion, undermine our society and families, and drag Belize down with them.

USAID was here recently to promote the identical agenda, saying if we want to combat the epidemic of AIDS, then we have to be tolerant of deviant lifestyles and teach its acceptance in our schools. I imagine Sodom and Gomorrah had similar activists working there, before all hell broke loose on them. [Actually we know they did, because the Bible says the people were calling on Lot to send his “guests” (angels) out.]

Lest we forget, here is what Genesis 19 says happened in Sodom with the angels:

    Genesis 19 (New International Version)

    Sodom and Gomorrah Destroyed

19 The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground. 2 “My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.”

“No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”

3 But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate. 4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”

Just asking ? How many have been convicted under this statute ? How many are in prison serving ten years? Who cares what others do in the bedroom .
