Belize City woman reports she was raped
A thirty-eight year old Belize City woman has told police that she was violently beaten and raped by three men over the weekend. According to the report, the victim was accosted around midnight Friday night by three dark complexioned men in the area of Matron Roberts Health Centre near Constitution Park. She says that she was roughed up, punched and then cut on her hand in order to subdue her prior to being violated by her three assailants. Police are investigating.
