Prison officer busted for bringing weed behind walls
The turnover rate for officers at the Hattieville Prison is going up as another warden was busted trying to sneak weed into the penal facility. According to court reports, around seven Sunday night, thirty-three year old Denrick Bull reported for duty and a customary personal search was conducted. In his boots, fellow prison guards found two black plastic bags containing four point four ounces of marijuana. Bull was immediately detained and charged with drug trafficking. He appeared in Magistrate’s court this morning where he pled not guilty and was offered bail of five thousand dollars.
Prison C.E.O. Marlon Skeen, told News Five that he is aware that some of the guards are involved in the trade, but that the practice is definitely not tolerated. He admits, however, that with two hundred and sixty employees, they will probably never completely stem the flow. Bull reappears in court on October twenty-fourth.
