Expo Belize 2006 weekend show opens at S.J.C.
Bargain hunters will descend on the S.J.C. gym this weekend looking for deals and steals at the country’s largest trade show. And Expo Belize 2006 promises not to disappoint. One hundred and twenty businesses were busy setting up their booths today in anticipation for an estimated ten thousand Belizean consumers. And according to coordinator Sybil Eiley of the Belize Chamber of Commerce, this year’s show will have something for everyone.

?Right now everybody is putting out all their best to get all the booths going, so you can see that energy in everybody preparing for their booths. We?re gonna have live entertainment, we?re gonna have good food, as I mentioned before, the participants are going all out with their booths this year because what we?re doing this year, we?re having a prize for the best decorated booth. So I encourage everybody to come out and see what all our participants have to offer, all under one roof.?
?This year?s expo is our tenth anniversary and I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our co-sponsors. They have been very supportive to the chamber over this ten year period and I want to say a special thank you to all our participants who have been very, very supportive also.?
Price to enter the Expo is three dollars for adults and a dollar for kids. The bargains start at nine on Saturday and end at five on Sunday evening.
