Taipei dance show to debut at the Bliss
On Thursday night, Belizeans will witness the creative talent of the Taipei Folk Dance group in a two night theatre called “Dream World Taiwan”. According to William Neal, director for the Institute for the Creative Arts, the idea behind the show is to expose the general public to genuine Taiwanese culture.

?It?s comparative to like a circus kind of thing where they have martial arts, they have some of the spinning of plates, you never know what they will do. Dancing with lanterns and that kind of thing. But it?s always interesting because it ties in very nicely with their own folklore and their theatre and everything. So, it?s almost dramatic in its presentation. So it?s not just dance. It has all the messages and each performance; there will be a preamble to it, to make sure the audience understands what they are portraying as well. So, it promises to be quite entertaining for both adults and children. So we encourage people to come out and enjoy it definitely. The show will be Thursday August thirty first and then September second at the Bliss Centre for the Performing Arts. It?s twenty dollars for reserved seats and ten dollars for general admission and it starts at seven. So make sure you?re here and come ready to be entertained.?
Tickets for the show are available at the Bliss Box Office.
