Muscle men to strut stuff for a good cause
They are sure to be big, buff and bold … I guess you’d have to be to try to pull a car or flip a tractor tyre. But participants in this weekend’s Muscle Mania and Strong Man competition aren’t going to be popping blood vessels in vain, as all proceeds of the event will go to the Salvation Army.

?I am pretty sure that this is first event of its kind in Belize, where you have muscle mania on beach and a strongman contest similar to the ones on E.S.P.N. What is unique about this show is one it is outdoors, and two we are going to be using in the strongman contest actual products from our sponsors, Gentrac, Belize Diesel, Caribbean Tires Wholesale and the official drink Rhino, which is an energy drink. We have their products involved in the contest. The first hour to hour and a half will be where u have guys like Sutherland posing down and showing their muscles. There will be a senior and junior division with Cash prizes that allot to five hundred dollars. Then when that is over we start the strongman contest. We have different steps and we will show u a demonstration in a bit. They start of by pulling a brand-new Toyota Hilux, and if you win the contest you don?t really win the vehicle ? you win five hundred dollars that can be a deposit on the vehicle. You pull the Hilux to about a hundred feet, then they un-harness themselves, then they have to flip a loaded tire supplied from Caribbean Tire Wholesale. They have to flip it over one time ? this is a five hundred pound tire, which is very heavy. The third step is that they have to load about twenty fifty pound rocks just almost a thousand pounds of rocks into a brand-new 320 Caterpillar excavator. The bucket of the excavator is big, so they fill that bucket. So when they are finished with that they pick up one walker jumping-jack sold by Gentrac. They have to walk about eighty feet with that, and then they set it down and turn on the right-side up ten drums of oil, Esso mobile oil. When they are finished with that they have to stack five tires unto a post. It will all be done by time. This strongman contest will be an open thing. There will be junior, middle or heavy-weight division, just strongman. I know some hundred and fifty pounds guys that are super strong, so if you got a lot of muscle that is a bonus ? it helps a lot.?
