Three arrested for robbery of shopkeeper

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with Monday night’s armed robbery of a shop on Central American Boulevard. Thirty-four year old Elvis Bevans, twenty year old Keith Middleton and twenty-one year old Robert Garnett were charged with Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery. Middleton was also hit with the serious charge of Keeping a Prohibited Firearm when the search of a house on Curl Thompson Street resulted in the discovery of a twelve gauge sawed off shotgun and a single twelve gauge cartridge. Charged along with Middleton were nineteen year old Allan Phillips, eighteen year old Walter Longsworth, eighteen year old Lindon Castillo, twenty year old Kiwani March and an unnamed minor.
