Dalton Eiley will play in Belize Vs Costa Rica game
The Jaguars will go up against a very strong Costa Rica on Saturday, and the good news is that both team captain Dalton Eiley and striker Dion McCauley have been cleared to play. Eiley did not play in the first game against the U.S.A. because he complained about chest pains and breathing problems. McCauley played, but hurt his leg in the last minutes of the game. After medical examinations, tests and close scrutiny, team doctor Elfryn Reyes has given both players the go ahead for Saturday’s game. News Five William Neal got that update from Reyes today.
Elfryn Reyes, Team Doctor, Belize Jaguars
“As we had suspected initially, Dalton is suffering from acute gastritis. Additionally, he has been diagnosed with pleurisy. Pleurisy is the inflammation of the pleura, a membrane that covers the lungs, which is not a condition to worry about for the game.”
William Neal
“So he should be able to play come game time tomorrow?”
Elfryn Reyes
“Yah. What we are doing with him is giving him some rest and teach him to control his breathing.”
“And in the case of Deon?”
Elfryn Reyes
“Deon today went to do some x-rays at an orthopedic specialist clinic and he is good to go. No major or minor injuries, just sore knees.”
William Neal
“Obviously you have to review and look at all the team and monitor them and their status in terms of their health. How has that been for you?”
Elfryn Reyes
“Well it has not been something hard because we were a team that came a hundred percent healthy. So it is just to be watchful and to ensure that the players are eating good and monitor their movements.”

Dalton Eiley is a great footballer. He even helps the opposing Costa Rican team win.
Lets name a stadium after him.
