?Apart from the official opening ceremonies, we move in on the second of September in supporting the Queen of the Bay pageant. Subsequent to that we will have a National Day of Prayer. We will also have a programme where we hope to present readings from the historical accords; it?s being titled ?Journals and Journalists?. We also hope to present a film re-enactment of the Battle of St. George?s Caye.?
?This year is the year when I believe that we will leave no doubt that this season, the tenth and independence season, September on the calendar in Belize is the people season of participation. There will be sufficient and more than–so many events that people will literally be going to and fro between them.?
The official September celebrations calendar is scheduled to be released by mid-August.
