Accused accomplice in Sat.?s drive-by charged

A man wanted in connection with a shooting incident last weekend has been arrested and charged. This morning, twenty-one year old Errol Haynes was formally arraigned in Belize City’s Magistrate Court on charges of Attempted Murder, Dangerous Harm and Use of Deadly Means of Harm. According to police, Haynes was apprehended on Thursday in the Coral Grove area of Belize City. It is believed that Haynes and twenty-two year old Robert Jones were the perpetrators of a drive-by shooting that took place on Saturday on Castle Street. The victim, Leon Garcia, continues to recover from bullet wounds to his chest and back.
