Beach and model winners crowned in Miss Belize Pageant

The Miss Belize Beach Beauty and Top Fashion Model Competitions were held this past weekend at the Princess Hotel and although nine ladies competed, only two could walk away as winners. At the end of an evening filled with countless runway struts and numerous outfit changes, twenty-four year old Maria Jeffrey was declared the first ever Miss Belize Beach Beauty and twenty-two year old Sherilee Green was named Miss Belize Top Fashion Model. It’s the first time that the fashion and swimsuit competitions have been held separately from the Miss Belize pageant. Both Jeffrey and Green will be recognized during that big event on Saturday night at the Belize City Centre, where all contestants will vie for the crowns of Miss Belize Universe and Miss Belize World.
