Y.M.C.A. summer programmes receive strong support

Story PictureThe Young Men’s Christian Association today completed the July session of its annual summer youth programme. The camp is the Y’s signature event and includes activities such as swimming, high school prep, math, reading, volleyball, football and basketball lessons. According to a press release issued today by the organisation, over one hundred and twenty-five kids participated in the academic and sports programme and a total of two-hundred young boys and girls are enjoying in the swimming lessons being held at the Pickwick Club. The summer activities are sponsored by the Belize Tourism Board, Atlantic Bank, The Pickwick Club, St. John’s College, PACT and B.E.L.
